Samsung's latest premium laptop lineup is off to a great start in the company's home country. Sales of the Galaxy Book 4 series reportedly exceeded 100,000 units in South Korea at the end of February, less than two months after the laptops arrived on retail shelves.

The Galaxy Book 4 lineup, made up of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra in most markets, impressively achieved the 100,000 sales milestone six weeks faster than its predecessor. Samsung reportedly attributes the “robust sales to the strong performance of the latest processors in AI applications and outstanding user experience”.

For those wondering, the Galaxy Book 4 series does not have the same AI features as the Galaxy S24. The Book 4's AI features are based on Microsoft Copilot and include functionality such as message syncing with Galaxy phones and tablets, intelligent summaries of synced messages and reply suggestions, and the option to use a Galaxy phone or tablet as a second screen or external webcam.

The Book 4 Pro is the most popular model

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro model reportedly performed the best with a 70% share of the total sales. While the Pro model is the best performer, the Book 4 Ultra has also turned out to be quite popular, with Samsung achieving twice as many Book 4 Ultra sales compared to the Book 3 Ultra. That's just based on the variant with the Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU. The variant with the RTX 4070 GPU will go up for pre-order in the country on March 11.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 come with either Intel onboard graphics or an Intel Arc GPU. The entire lineup uses the 14th-gen Intel Core Ultra processors that are kept cool with an improved cooling system that includes a larger vapor chamber. Samsung has also equipped all models with a touchscreen. On the software front, Windows 11 Home comes preloaded.

Samsung also launched a non-Pro Galaxy Book 4 360 model, but it is limited to select countries such as India and probably won't see a global launch.
