Samsung has been quickly updating eligible devices to One UI 5.1 ever since the latest iteration of its custom software was unveiled earlier this month. Many of its current and old flagships have received the update already.
It was only a matter of time before Samsung released the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Note 20 series. If you own one of the last Note devices, you'll be glad to hear that Samsung is now rolling out this much-awaited update for your device.

Such is the speed at which Samsung is going through this rollout that it's outpacing its own One Ui 5.1 release roadmap. The Galaxy Note series was supposed to get the update in the last week of February, but here we are in the third week, already seeing the update start to arrive on the device.
The first reports about the update hitting the airwaves have arrived from Argentina. It's likely a phased rollout so it will take some time before the update is made available across all markets, so you just have to wait a bit longer. On the flip side, you can download it from our firmware section.
It remains to be seen if the One UI 5.1 battery drain bug will impact the Galaxy Note 20 devices as well. There have been multiple reports from Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 owners that their battery life is depleting much faster after they updated their phones to the latest software. Samsung hasn't acknowledged the issue as yet but it's likely working on a fix.
