One month ago, Samsung released the first One UI 4.0 beta update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. After releasing three beta updates, the South Korean firm released the stable One UI 4.0 update to its latest foldable devices. However, that update wasn't actually stable and caused various issues, and Samsung had to suspend that update. Now, the company has released another beta update to fix those bugs.

The company announced through the Samsung Members forum that it has released the fourth One UI 4.0 beta update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The new update comes with the firmware version ending ZUL4, and it is available in South Korea.

The new software fixes the bug which forced the phone to boot into Safe Mode or Recovery Menu. It also fixes the bug that reset all the apps to 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio. In the update's changelog, Samsung claims that the bug that stopped some links from being opened in Facebook has been fixed. The company has also fixed the bug which prevented the Kiwoom Securities app from running on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

If you're a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in South Korea who is registered for beta testing the One UI 4.0 update, you can check for the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. Once all the critical bugs are fixed, Samsung could resume the stable One UI 4.0 update rollout in South Korea and other markets worldwide.
