Samsung has added a new feature to the Global Goals app to reward users and those who donate to the cause. The company introduces a new “Thank-you gifts” feature that brings unique wallpapers to Global Goals users for their Galaxy phones and smartwatches.

The Global Goals app, which is serviced in partnership with UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), allows the Galaxy community to learn about Global Goals, which are a series of programs that the UN aims to complete by 2030.

Through the Global Goals app, Galaxy device users can donate to these causes and bring the goals closer to the finish line. And to thank participants, Samsung announced it is adding a new feature called Thank-you Gifts.

Global Goals participants get limited-time wallpapers

The Thank-you Gifts feature allows Global Goals app users to redeem limited-time wallpapers. Initially, Samsung will offer three collections of wallpapers for your phone and watch faces for the Galaxy Watch.

These wallpapers highlight different endangered species and habitats such as rhinos, sea turtles, whale sharks, sea otters, coral reefs, grasslands, and others.

Samsung says that any user who engages with the Global Goals app will be offered a limited-time wallpaper or watch face for free. And by donating through the Global Goals app, users will then be able to unlock other special wallpapers and watch faces. Samsung will release more collections throughout the year.
