Samsung has released a new beta version of its Samsung Internet web browser. It brings longer history lists to Android smartphones and tablets. The new version of the web browser also improves the tab manager UI on Android tablets. It may also include some bug fixes and reliability improvements.
Samsung Internet Beta v22 brings improvements to the history and tab manager UI
A new Samsung Internet Beta update is now available with version 22.0.0.24 on the Google Play Store. It will soon be available on the Galaxy Store, too. It has a download size of 77.29MB and is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 or newer versions of the operating system. The official changelog says that the new Samsung Internet Beta update increases the number of history lists, which means that more history items are displayed.
The update also brings improvements to the Tab Manager's list layout on tablets. While we haven't checked the UI on tablets yet, it could mean that tabs in the list view are displayed in columns to take advantage of the bigger screen. Apart from these new features, Samsung hasn't added any other major feature to its web browser.
You can head over to the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store and install Samsung Internet Brower Beta if you haven't already. It allows you to check out and use new features before they make it to the stable version of Samsung Internet.
