Samsung is bringing a new feature-packed low-cost smart TV to India. The new HD TV will be coming to India through Samsung's official website and offline stores, as well as through partner retailer Flipkart during the festive season.
In the official announcement, Samsung hasn't given this new 32-inch smart TV a name but described it as “three-side bezel-less.” That's because the TV has a thick lower chin, but its frame is considerably thinner at the top and sides. The company claims that the TV was designed to offer “an impeccable viewing experience to consumers looking for a compact yet feature-loaded TV.”
A surprisingly “smart” experience for a seemingly low price
Samsung's new nameless 32-inch TV offers a fairly wide range of features designed to improve the image and sound quality, including HDR, PureColor, Ultra Clean View technology, Contrast Enhancer, and Dolby Digital Plus for 3D surround sound.
Even more surprising is the amount of smart features built into this low-cost TV. These include Samsung TV Plus with 55 global and local live channels (including Discovery TV and Republic TV) and Screen Mirroring capabilities. In addition, the TV offers a PC Mode that allows users to create and work on documents from the cloud, and a Game Mode (not to be confused with Gaming Hub), designed to improve frame rate transition and offer low latency for a better gaming experience.
Samsung hasn't revealed when the TV will be available for purchase and didn't mention the full price. However, customers will have the option to acquire the 32-inch smart TV at no-cost EMI options starting as low as INR 1,499 ($18.50) a month. More attractive deals and cashback offers for early buyers will be available at Flipkart during the festive season.
