Samsung has released a new update for its Notes app. There have been other updates for the app in recent weeks but they were mostly just combined with ambigious changelogs that mentioned general bug fixes. The latest update, though, changes that.
In the new version of Samsung Notes that's rolling out for Galaxy devices, Samsung has fixed the “sync conflict-popup issue when moving note data via Smart Switch.” This is a bug that occurs when you switch from one Galaxy device to another and transfer notes using the Smart Switch app instead of using the sync functionality of Samsung Cloud.
From what we know, this bug basically keeps throwing up the notification that notes couldn't be synced online repeatedly. The new update, which has been rolling out since early September, should hopefully fix it and make it a non-issue going forward.
Apart from purportedly fixing the sync issue, the new Samsung Notes update brings nothing new, and unless you'll be transferring your note data from one Galaxy device to another using Smart Switch in the near future, you probably don't need this update. Nonetheless, it can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store (click this link if you're reading this on your phone's browser to directly go to the Samsung Notes Galaxy Store page).
