In August this year, Samsung launched the PRO Ultimate lineup of SD and microSD cards. These are the fastest memory cards from the brand to date, offering read and write speeds of up to 200MB/s and 130MB/s respectively. It hasn’t even been two months since the PRO Ultimate series hit the market, and the company has already started offering massive discounts on these memory cards in the US through Amazon, making this a great time to own one.

The PRO Ultimate SD card comes in four storage options: 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, whereas, the Ultimate PRO microSD card is available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Both the types of cards in the lineup can be purchased with or without card readers. Today, Samsung is offering discounts on all the SKUs of the PRO Ultimate microSD card, which includes 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models with and without card readers.

Now available with up to 31% discount

The 512GB variant of the Samsung PRO Ultimate microSD card was launched at $64.99. However, it is now available on Amazon at $44.99. That’s a 31% discount on the launch price. The 256GB and 128GB models made their debut with a price tag of $40.99 and $20.99 respectively. Today, the two memory cards are on sale on Amazon at $24.99 and $16.99 respectively. That’s a 29% discount on the 256GB variant and a 19% discount on the 128GB version.

Buy PRO Ultimate microSD cards

You don’t need to apply any coupon to get the Ultimate PRO microSD cards at discounted prices. Just click on the purchase link mentioned above, add the item to your cart, and make the payment. Amazon hasn’t mentioned how long these deals will be live. However, considering that these memory cards are available at such amazing prices, we bet that many people would want to grab one. That means the deal (or the stock) could be gone soon. So, hurry up.

Samsung PRO Ultimate SD and microSD card features

The PRO Ultimate memory cards come with V30 (Video Speed Class 30) and A2 (Application Performance Class 2) ratings. The V30 rating ensures that the card can maintain at least 30 MB/s of speed under sustained loads, and the A2 rating ensures that the card has minimum random read and random write of 4,000 IOPS and 2,000 IOPS respectively. In short, these cards are excellent for recording 4K video for a long period of time and installing apps and games.

The PRO Ultimate memory cards also offer excellent durability, as they are water, temperature, x-ray, magnet, drop, and wear-out proof. If you have been looking for the ultimate memory card for your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or camera, the PRO Ultimate should be on your shortlist. If you are, however, looking for something more affordable, you can check out the Samsung PRO Plus series of SD and microSD cards, which offer slightly lower speeds at a lesser price.
