Samsung unveiled its new QD-OLED TV lineup, consisting of the S90C and the S95C, last month during its CES 2023 event. Those TVs will soon be available for purchase in European countries, and the company has revealed their pricing and availability. Earlier today, the company also announced the pricing and availability of its new Neo QLED and QD-OLED TVs for South Korea.
European pricing for Samsung's 2023 lineup of QD-OLED TVs
The pricing of the S90C QD-OLED TV starts at €1,999 for the 55-inch version. The 65-inch and 75-inch versions of the TV are priced at €2,799 and €3,999, respectively. The 55-inch version of the higher-end S95C QD-OLED TV is priced at €2,499, while the 65-inch and 75-inch versions are priced at €3,299 and €4,799, respectively.
The 55-inch and 65-inch versions of the S90C will be available for purchase in March 2023, while all the other QD-OLED TVs in Samsung's 2023 lineup will be available starting April 2023.
Samsung S90C and S95C QD-OLED TV features
The S90C carries forward the design of last year's S95B and lacks the One Connect Box that the pricier S95C has. The S90C has a 2.2.2-channel 60W speaker setup, while the S95C has 4.2.2-channel 70W speakers. The rest of the features and specifications of all new QD-OLED TVs remain the same.
Samsung's QD-OLED TVs feature a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 144Hz variable refresh rate, HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming, and HLG. High-frame rate and variable refresh rate are supported on all four HDMI 2.1 ports on these TVs. They can reach a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits (77-inch S95C) and have 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. They also feature 0.1ms grey-to-grey response time, so they're great for gaming.
These TVs run a newer version of the Tizen OS. They come with Samsung Gaming Hub that offers access to all the popular cloud game streaming services, including Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Utomik. They also feature AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Super Ultrawide Game View (32:9), and Game Bar.
Their audio features include Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony 3.0, Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound+, Object Sound Tracking+, and Bluetooth Audio. They also feature Tap View, Tap Sound, Bixby, Alexa, Google Assistant, AirPlay 2, HomeKit, SmartThings, Samsung Health, and Solar Remote. The new QD-OLED TVs have four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), one optical audio out port, and three USB Type-A ports.
