Samsung is readying its brand-new Smart Keyboard Trio 500 for market release in Europe, and the company confirmed earlier today that the accessory will be available in a matter of weeks. Samsung is planning to release the Smart Keyboard Trio 500 in Germany at the beginning of June for the recommended retail price of €44.90.
As expected considering the previous official announcement on this new accessory, the Samsung Smart Keyboard Trio 500 will be available in two color options: black and white, with each variant having a few color-coded keys for DeX as well as for easy switching between connected devices and opened apps.
A productivity-focused Bluetooth keyboard from Samsung
Although the Samsung Smart Keyboard Trio 500 itself doesn't incorporate DeX, it was designed for Galaxy smartphone and tablet users who enjoy the DeX experience. With just one press of a button, the Keyboard Trio 500 can put a connected Galaxy smartphone or tablet into DeX mode.
The keyboard is compatible with any Galaxy smartphones and tablets as long as they run One UI 3.1 and were last updated in March 2021 or later.
As the name suggests, the Samsung Smart Keyboard Trio 500 can be connected to three different devices simultaneously, and users can switch between them with the help of three function keys. Likewise, setting up these Bluetooth connections for the first is very easy to do. Users are only required to turn on the keyboard and hold one of the dedicated Bluetooth buttons pressed to receive a connection request on the smartphone or tablet.
Availability details for other markets besides Germany haven't been revealed yet but we assume that the Smart Keyboard Trio 500 will launch globally around June for the rough equivalent of €44.90.
