Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled its new soundbar models for 2022. Today, on the occasion of World Music Day, the South Korean firm has launched its new soundbar lineup in India. New soundbars include the flagship HW-Q990B with an 11.1.4-channel setup and Wireless Dolby Atmos.
Samsung's 2022 soundbar lineup for the Indian market includes seven models: HW-Q600B, HW-Q700B, HW-Q800B, HW-Q930B, HW-Q990B, HW-S61B, and HW-S810B. Pricing starts at INR 24,990 for the HW-S61B and goes as high as INR 99,990 for the HW-Q990B.

Samsung's 2022 Q series soundbars feature Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony
The HW-Q990B is the company's flagship soundbar for 2022 and is the world's first soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos. It can be paired with a Samsung QLED TV wirelessly while offering Dolby Atmos audio, cutting down the clutter. It has four up-firing speakers, 656W audio output, DTS:X, SpaceFit Sound+, Q-Symphony, Auto EQ, Alexa, AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Tap Sound, and more.
The HW-Q930B has 9.1.4-channel audio, 540W audio output, Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Q-Symphony, Space Fit Sound, Alexa, AirPlay, SmartThings, Spotify Connect, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Hi-Res Audio. It supports features like Tap Sound, Adaptive Sound, Game Mode Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier. It also features an HDMI eARC port with 4K HDR10+ passthrough.
The HW-Q800B lets go of two up-firing speakers. It has a 5.1.2-channel setup with 360W audio. It has Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Q-Symphony, SpaceFit Sound, Adaptive Sound, Tap Sound, Game Mode Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier. It has an HDMI eARC port with 4K HDR10+ video passthrough. It can be controlled via the SmartThings app. It has Alexa and is compatible with AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The HW-Q700B is a 320W soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Q-Symphony, AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Alexa, and Tap Sound. It has an HDMI eARC port with 4K HDR10+ passthrough. The soundbar also supports Hi-Res Audio, SmartThings, and Spotify Connect.
Samsung's HW-Q600B is a 360W 3.1.2-channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Other soundbar features include Q-Symphony, Adaptive Sound, Game Mode Pro, Tap Sound, 4K HDR10+ video passthrough, HDMI eARC port, and Bluetooth.
Samsung's S series soundbars launched in 2022 come in white and have an ultra-slim design
The HW-S61B is the company's slim soundbar with 200W 5-channel audio. It means that it doesn't come with a dedicated subwoofer. It features Wireless Dolby Atmos, though, and it can be paired with QLED TVs via the Q-Symphony feature. It also features AirPlay 2 and Alexa. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Tap Sound, and HDMI eARC. It can calibrate itself using the SpaceFit Sound Gen 2 feature. It supports Hi-Res Audio, SmartThings, and Spotify Connect.
The HW-S810B is a 330W soundbar with a 3.1.2-channel setup. It has a dedicated wireless subwoofer and supports Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Q-Symphony Gen 2, Alexa, AirPlay 2, Google Assistant, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and SmartThings control. It also comes with Adaptive Sound, Active Voice Amplifier, and Game Mode Pro. It lacks 4K HDR10+ video passthrough.
