Samsung is now offering the T7 Touch Portable SSD at a discount through Amazon in several markets. In the USA, customers can save up to 21% on the T7 Touch Portable SSD, while in Germany, Amazon is shaving a whopping 43% off the price of the 1TB model.

Customers in the USA can now buy the 500GB Samsung T7 Touch for only $89.99 instead of $109. The 1TB and 2TB models cost $149 and $299, respectively, down from $189 and $369.

The same Samsung T7 Touch SSD with 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB of storage is now available for €89, €124, and €229, respectively. Similarly, Amazon UK is dropping the prices for the 500GB and 1TB models to £74 and £103.

The Samsung T7 Touch Portable SSD is one of the most secure consumer external SSDs on the market. It's shock-resistant to the point where it can withstand drops from ~6 feet (~2 meters), and data is secured with a fingerprint scanner, hence the moniker “T7 Touch”. Samsung is also selling a standard T7 without a fingerprint scanner.

The T7 Touch Portable SSD can top read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,000MB/s. It offers AES 256-bit hardware encryption and it's compatible with a wide variety of devices and operating system. It's available in two color options — black and silver.
