Samsung Electronics announced that it will display popular contemporary South Korean artist Park Seo-Bo's artworks on The Wall TV at New York’s iconic Rockefeller Center. Samsung has partnered with Johyun Gallery to display Park Seo-Bo on Samsung’s state-of-the-art Micro LED technology as a part of the ‘Origin, Emergence, Return' exhibition.
Bo's artwork from the ‘Écriture' series will be displayed on The Wall’s immersive 146-inch 4K screen. The Wall's immersive screen will allow users to appreciate the artwork as it replicates the intense colors and textures as if it were the original artwork. Park Seo-Bo's designer artwork was captured in 56 segments using ultra-high resolution cameras utilizing microphotography technology. Samsung's The Wall TV has advanced technology that properly displays the texture of Écriture created with paint and traditional handmade Korean paper, Hanji.
The Wall All-in-One display from Samsung is powered by advanced Micro LED technology. It has won numerous awards, including ‘2023 Best of Show' at both Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2023 and InfoComm 2023, the world’s leading AV and systems integration exhibitions. The sleek and slim design and the convenient customization options to fit it into any ambiance make it a preferred choice for such events.
Apparently, the exhibition will also feature a media room with Samsung’s 85-inch Neo QLED 8K Signage (QPA-8K model). In this, Park’s artistic process will be shown through a series of videos and documentaries highlighting the artist's creative journey. Rockefeller Center will showcase more than 40 pieces of Park’s artwork, including the digital exhibition on The Wall All-in-One, until July 23.
