Now that Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, it can get down to the business of selling its new flagship smartphone. Samsung will be selling the handset directly to customers as well as through its retail and carrier partners.
T-Mobile was one of the first carriers in the United States to confirm the Galaxy S9 price and release date for its customers. It's going to start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ from next week.
T-Mobile Galaxy S9 price and release date
Magenta has confirmed the T-Mobile Galaxy S9 price and release date today. It's going to start taking pre-orders for the handset on March 1 at 9:01 pm PT. Both handsets will be released on March 16. The Galaxy S9 will also be available from MetroPCS on the very same day.
The carrier is selling the Galaxy S9 for $30 per month on its Equipment Installment Plan with $0 down ($720 FRP). The Galaxy S9+ can be purchased on its installment plan for $30 per month as well with $120 down ($840 FRP). Both devices are offered in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple colors.
Customers can get half off the Galaxy S9 or $360 off the Galaxy S9+ via bill credits if they trade-in an eligible smartphone. More details about the trade-in offer are available on T-Mobile's website.
