The past couple of years have all been about new-generation AI-powered digital assistants, and it all started with the revolutionary ChatGPT. This AI assistant from OpenAI is what powers Microsoft's Copilot and is rumored to be powering some AI features in Apple's upcoming iOS 18 update.
Well, now you can access ChatGPT-powered Copilot inside Telegram.
Telegram gets access to Microsoft Copilot
Copilot inside Telegram is touted to be your everyday AI companion. You can have seamless conversations with Copilot, ask for movie or restaurant recommendations, get romance tips, or simply ask it to improve language in your emails or messages. Of course, it all depends on how much trust you place in AI.
On its help page, Microsoft claims you can get sports stats, get personalized music playlist recommendations, fun facts, jokes, workout tips, and trip planning through Copilot on Telegram. Of course, being a Microsoft product, you can access information from the web via Bing Search.

You might think you can now uninstall the dedicated Bing app now that you can access Copilot inside Telegram. However, you need to know that Microsoft has limited Copilot in Telegram to just 30 turns per day.
This new feature is exactly similar to the recently released Gemini access inside the Google Messages app.
How to access Copilot inside Telegram on your Galaxy phone?
1. Open the Telegram app on your Galaxy phone or tablet (or any Android or iOS device)
2. Type @CopilotOfficialBot in the search bar and then click on it. Now, click the ‘Start‘ button that appears in the chat.
3. It will now ask you to share your registered phone number. Choose ‘Send My Mobile Number‘ to get started.
4. The Copilot chatbot will now share some recommendations. You can either click one of those or type something on your own. You can add images to bring more context to your conversations.
