The Galaxy A02s is, without doubt, one of the cheapest Samsung-branded smartphones one can buy. The sub-$100 smartphone might not offer much in the way of specs, but it serves as a decent entry-level device for those on a tight budget. Now, a new Black Friday deal lets you save even more money. Do note that the promotion is valid only for the AT&T-bound variant of the Galaxy A02s.
One can buy the Galaxy A02s for $40 at Walmart for $39.88, which is 50% off of its asking price of $80. The promotion is only valid for the variant with 32GB of internal storage. It is available for purchase online and in-store pickup starting on Nov 26, 5 AM local time. You can find out more about the specifics of the promotion at the official Walmart listing for the Galaxy A02s.
To recap, the Galaxy A02s ships with a V-shaped 6.5-inch PLS IPS panel (720 x 1,600 resolution) panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz. An entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC powers the smartphone, along with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. One can expand the latter further via a micro SD card.
At the back, the Galaxy A02s has a 13MP primary camera sensor, coupled with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. A 5MP module handles selfies and video calls. Lastly, the phone's 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 15W. While this might not be top-of-the-line material, it is practically a steal for $40.
