Samsung began seeding the third One UI 4.0 beta update in South Korea earlier this week. Today, it looks like the company went ahead and released the same update in more markets where the Android 12 beta program is open to Galaxy S21 users.
This is the third Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta firmware Samsung has released this year, though, in some markets that have skipped the first One UI 4.0 beta, this counts as the second Android 12-based release.
Regardless, the new beta build is focused mainly on fixing bugs. You might find some new tweaks here and there, and certain 1st party apps — like Samsung Weather — seem to have gone through some UI changes. Overall, it's more of the same as the previous beta build, only better. At least in theory, as there's never a certainty when it comes to pre-release software.
The November 2021 security patch is part of One UI 4.0 beta 3
Aside from the various fixes, both under the hood and to the visible UI, Samsung has included the November 2021 security patch with the latest beta build. The latest security update has yet to be detailed by Google or Samsung, but the changelog will likely be revealed early next month.
The new One UI 4.0 beta update is now rolling out in countries where the beta program is open. If you haven't applied to join the beta program yet and would like to change that, you can register by following our step-by-step guide.
