Samsung revealed earlier this week that the next Galaxy S22 update based on the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 beta will be delayed, and it has now confirmed that the delay will push the release into next week. As expected, Samsung is only providing a general timeline so an accurate date for the update's release is not available.
The delay will allow more bug fixes to be included in the third beta for the Galaxy S22 series, and according to Samsung, that update will incorporate feedback, fixes, and improvements from the latest (ninth) Galaxy S23 series beta, which should result in increased stability and ultimately reduce the time Samsung needs to complete development on the Galaxy S22's Android 14 update.

As for the Galaxy S23 series, we know we have already said it too many times, but the stable release of Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for Samsung's latest candybar flagships should be right around the corner, especially now that Samsung seems to have started advertising invididual One UI 6.0 features. However, it probably won't be this week unless Samsung breaks tradition and rolls out a major OS update over the weekend.
The stable version is likely to be very refined given how much work Samsung has put in. The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are on their ninth One UI 6.0 beta build, which is more than the number of updates any previous Android/One UI beta programs for Galaxy smartphones have received and will help Samsung work faster on Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for other eligible smartphones (including the Galaxy S22, as mentioned above).
