The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro offers five upgrades over the TicWatch 5 Pro.
First, it features sapphire crystal protection on the display instead of the Gorilla Glass that the previous model offers, which is something that Galaxy Watch 6 features too. This upgrade should make the display more resistant to scratches. Second, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro has reinforced bezels around the display, which should make it more rugged. Third, it features a redesigned rotating crown, which is bigger, and according to Mobvoi, should offer “effortless navigation.”
Fourth, the TickWatch 5 Pro Enduro is slimmer than the TickWatch 5 Pro (11.95mm vs 12.2mm). While it is nowhere as slim as the Galaxy Watch 6, which has a waistline of just 9mm, the reduction in thickness is commendable considering that it packs a massive, 628mAh battery. Fifth, the new watch comes with a ‘Fluororubber’ band, which should feel similar to the Sport band of the Galaxy Watch 6. Unfortunately, TickWatch 5 Pro Enduro still ships with Wear OS 3.
Despite these upgrades, the TickWatch 5 Pro Enduro costs the same as the TickWatch 5 Pro, having a price tag of USD 349. That makes it USD 20 costlier than the Galaxy Watch 6.
