The Galaxy Note 10 series began receiving the September 2021 security update in the first week of September. It was among the first Galaxy smartphones to receive it, but the rollout was limited to South Korea. A couple of weeks later, Samsung is now ready to release the September update for the unlocked Galaxy Note 10 series in the USA.
Galaxy Note 10 users in the USA can identify the new update by firmware version N97xU1UES7FUH7. It appears to be a routine update with the September 2021 security patch included, but the firmware number indicates that the update doesn't bring any significant changes or additions.
Fortunately for Galaxy Note 10 series owners, they will eventually enjoy an upgrade to Android 12, most likely next year. Until then, the series will continue to receive security updates regularly.
The September 2021 security patch itself was detailed a couple of weeks ago, and it addresses 23 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposure items. As usual, you should be able to download the new update from the Settings app on your phone by accessing the Software update menu. Or you can download the latest update from our firmware database and install the Galaxy Note 10 update manually.
