Vivo is all set to launch the X100s, X100s Pro, and X100s Ultra later today. So far, we’ve learned that the X100 Ultra will feature two components manufactured by Samsung, the ISCOELL HP9 200MP sensor for the periscope camera and the E7 Super AMOLED display. Well, right before the launch event kicks off, more details about the phone have emerged, which reveal that the X100 Ultra will have one more component made by Samsung.
On Weibo, a post from Shaorong Technology claims that the Vivo X100 Ultra will feature Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 50MP sensor for the selfie camera. Reportedly, the phone will be able to record videos at a resolution of 4K and a frame rate of 60 frames per second using this camera, which will make the X100 Ultra one of the very few Android phones to record videos at that resolution and frame rate using the front camera. For your reference, the X100 series smartphones also use the ISOCELL JN1 sensor for the selfie camera.

Other specs of the phone include the Sony LYT900 1-inch sensor for the primary camera, Sony LYT-600 sensor for the ultrawide camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
