The Galaxy S4 Active has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now and today the device has been spotted at Bluetooth SIG and in a User Agent Profile. The Galaxy S4 Active will simply be a dust and water-resistant variant of the Korean giant's flagship device, the Galaxy S4. Previously, the device was just a rumour but these new clues are confirming the existence of the Galaxy S4 Active.
The Bluetooth certification doesn't reveal any details about the upcoming handset, except the device will have Bluetooth 4.0 on-board. The User Agent Profile, spotted on Samsung's own website, confirms that the Galaxy S4 Active will feature a Full HD (1920×1080) Display, just like the standard Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy S4 Active will probably have the same specifications as the standard Galaxy S4. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or Exynos 5 Octa SoC, depending on the market, 2GB of RAM, Full HD 5″ SuperAMOLED Display panel, 13 megapixel main shooter and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. The device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 out of the box.
The Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295) should be available in stores starting from week 26.
