Introduction
Most Galaxy smartphones get a sequel every 12 months, while new models of Samsung's smartwatches and tablets tend to come every 18 months or so. Samsung will no doubt launch new smart rings regularly as well, and barely five months after the launch of the Galaxy Ring, rumors about its potential successor started appearing on the internet.
Design and specifications
Rumor has it that the Galaxy Ring 2 will be thinner than the Galaxy Ring while still providing longer battery life, which would be an impressive achievement if true. However, since this is a ring we're talking about, the design probably won't look any different to the Galaxy Ring when the ring is on the user's finger.
As far as specifications go, details are non-existent as of November 7, 2024. The Galaxy Ring 2 will have more features according to one industry source, but that isn't the least bit surprising, especially for the sequel to a first-generation product.
Availability and price
The Galaxy Ring 2 will reportedly go official sooner than expected, but we will have to wait and see just how soon. The price is a mystery too, though we can assume that it will be costlier than the first Galaxy Ring.
