Samsung's currently testing few versions of the Galaxy Note III. The test models that are floating around bears display sizes of 5.68-inch and 5.7-inch and the reason for different display size could be that Samsung hasn't zeroed down on the exact size yet. Similarly, it seems Samsung is testing the device with standard FHD AMOLED panels, Flexible AMOLED panels (could make the device thinner) and even with Sharp's display technology called: IGZO.
The report also claims Samsung is not sure which build they want to use for the upcoming Galaxy Note or the camera sensor – an 8 megapixel could make the device thin but we expect to be a 13 megapixel camera sensor, making it at par with the Galaxy S4.
The strategy for different prototype seems to be in line with the previous flagship devices. This gives Samsung an opportunity to test the product with different options and even single down on the leak, if there is any.
Whatever the case is, we'll ask our insider to get more information or we'll anyways know at the IFA 2013 where we'll report live.
