Android 4.3 rolling out to Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition

Google has released the Android 4.3 update for the Google Play edition (GPe) of the Galaxy S4 (and the HTC One), just over a week after the update was pushed to the company's own Nexus devices, confirming that speedier updates will indeed be a part of the Google Play edition phones that Google releases in the future.

The update, which is around 150MB in size, brings all the new Android 4.3 features and improvements, but also adds a few custom changes specifically for the GPe S4 – larger icons on widget panels, support for Bluetooth tethering, and a grey background in settings menus that replaces the full black background Samsung used initially. There's supposedly some interface changes in the camera as well.  4.3-s4-gpe

The update is now rolling out over-the-air, though it will probably take a few days to reach every device. Don't forget to force a check through the Settings » About phone » System updates menu on your phone, or just sit back and wait for that sweet notification that will show up in your status bar when the update arrives.

Any of you seeing the update on your Galaxy S4 GPe yet?
