An unannounced Samsung smartphone with model number SPH-L500 has visited the FCC recently, and judging by the radio bands mentioned in the FCC documents, it should be headed to Virgin Mobile USA. From the photos of the device, it looks to be pretty similar to the Galaxy Trend/Galaxy Star (it has a nice texture on the back, pretty similar to the S4/S4 mini), though there's info on its specs for now, except that it will have NFC, a microSD slot, and rear and front cameras.
Expect this to be priced at somewhere around the entry-level segment, though we'll have to wait further for release dates and hardware info.
