Samsung has confirmed at the Samsung Forum 2014 event in Bali that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be making its way to India shortly. The Note 3 Neo was officially announced last month and looks similar in design to the original Galaxy Note 3. It comes with a slightly smaller 5.5-inch 720p screen to the 5.7-inch full-HD screen that was seen on the Note 3. Otherwise, there isn’t much to differentiate both mobiles as far as design is concerned. The Note 3 Neo also features a faux leather back and comes with the latest S Pen stylus.
The Note 3 Neo does come with an Exynos 5260 SoC that contains a hexa-core CPU. This CPU has two 1.7 GHz Cortex A15 cores in addition to four 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 cores. The device comes with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory of which 11 GB is available to the user, a micro-SD slot to boost storage to 64 GB, 8MP camera with LED flash and a BSI sensor, 2MP front shooter that also has a BSI sensor. In terms of connectivity, the Note 3 Neo has 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ GLONASS and NFC. The device comes with a 3,100 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean along with Samsung’s suite of exclusive utilities. In addition, Samsung is also offering access to regional content through the Club Samsung Store. The Note 3 Neo will be available in Black, Mint Green and White colors and will be available for Rs. 40,900 ($660).
