There’s a lot of stuff that happens in the tech industry, something that is especially true when it comes to giants like Samsung. If you missed out on some (or all) of what happened in the last 24 hours or so, well, here’s a recap of all the big things that went down.
The first concrete Galaxy Note 4 rumor came out of the woodwork, indicating that Samsung's next phablet flagship will have a 5.7-inch display of QHD (2560×1440) resolution. A new Gear device called Gear Blink also made an appearance in a trademark filing, hinting once again at smart glasses that could be announced alongside the Galaxy Note 4 in September. Meanwhile, we published our review of the Galaxy Tab4, Samsung's latest attempt to take over the mid-range tablet market.
There were rumors that Samsung is working on adding support for Android apps on Tizen, and that the Galaxy S5 Prime could support insane download speeds of up to 225Mbps, at least in South Korea. AT&T announced availability of the Galaxy S4 mini (yes, we know, that's quite an old phone now), and Samsung officially announced that it would be killing off its Music Hub service and replacing it with something else.
