Earlier this month, we were introduced to the Galaxy S5 Mini, the smaller, less powerful variant of Samsung's 2014 flagship. The phone has been available for pre-order in a few countries, but while isn't available for general purchase just yet, that hasn't stopped the first firmware for the device from showing up online. A Russian firmware for the Galaxy S5 Mini is now available for download from our firmware section, carrying build number G800FXXU1ANG1, just in time for the phone's release in the country, which is slated for sometime in early July.

As always, the firmware file will be useful for those looking to take a peek inside the phone's software, or as a backup for flashing back to the stock firmware in case they mess things up while trying to root or install other hacks on the device. Expect the firmware to go online for more regions in the coming days, as the Galaxy S5 Mini rolls out to more countries around the world.

Firmware Details:

  • • Model: SM-G800F
  • • Country: Russia
  • • Version: Android 4.4.2
  • • Changelist: 1998311
  • • Build date: Tue, 01 Jul 2014 05:38:04 +0000

  • • PDA: G800FXXU1ANG1
