Samsung can't seem to catch a break when it comes to the Galaxy A5, as the upcoming Galaxy A series phone continues to make appearances in leaks. We've seen what the device looks like through images we exclusively leaked, and we've also revealed some of its hardware details. All three Galaxy A smartphones will feature LTE connectivity, and now, a variant of the device with support for US Cellular's LTE network, which works on LTE-FDD Band 5, has passed certification at the FCC. The FCC listing doesn't reveal anything else, but it does indicate that the Galaxy A5 will launch on all major US carriers.
The Galaxy A5 is expected to sport a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 400/410 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of expandable internal storage, and a 2,330 mAh battery. On the software front, it should run on Android 4.4.4, with the latest version of Samsung's TouchWiz UX on top, and its design – according to our insider – sports a metal-like cold material. Its price should be somewhere between $400-$450, and an official announcement will likely happen pretty soon.
