Samsung is known for its AMOLED displays, but the company also has an investment in liquid crystal displays (or LCDs) as well. LCDs are more affordable for manufacturer and customer, and allow Samsung to produce a clear picture TV-viewing experience while mass-producing such devices in hopes of a large consumer demand.

To this end, Samsung has now announced its curved and un-curved TVs in the United States, along with their respective retail prices. There are 5 curved TV models (JS9500, JS9100, JS9000, JU6700, JU7500) and 2 un-curved TV models (JS8500, JU7100), with screen resolutions from Super Ultra HD to Ultra HD, sizes ranging from 40 to 78 inches, and prices ranging from $950 to $10,000 USD. Samsung’s 4K, Super Ultra High-Definition (SUHD) TVs are available this Spring, some models now and others in May.
