A product support page for the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 was recently spotted on T-Mobile's website which led to speculation that perhaps the carrier would be launching this tablet in the very future, sure enough the company today confirmed that it's going to launch the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 on August 19. It's the first carrier in the United States to sell a 4G LTE enabled variant of this tablet.
Samsung has only been selling the Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab A in the United States, for now though T-Mobile will be the only choice for people who want to purchase a LTE enabled unit. T-Mobile is going to sell this tablet through its online and participating retail stores starting August 19 priced at $0 down with 23 installments of $13.34 and 1 installment of $13.17 for a total price of $319.99. That's a decent price for a tablet that has an 8-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD support, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera as well as Android 5.0.2.
