Last month Samsung teased its upcoming smartwatch at the event for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+, a few days back the company formally launched the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic smartwatch. We now know for sure what the wearable device looks like and what it brings under the hood, the company didn't talk about pricing though at that time but today at IFA 2015 Samsung has revealed prices for the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic.
Samsung has confirmed today that the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic will be released in Finland and Denmark next month, the Gear S2 will cost 349 euro in Finland and 2,599kr in Denmark whereas the Gear S2 Classic is going to cost 399 euro and 2,999kr. Prices for other markets have not been revealed yet but that information is certainly going to come in due time. Samsung Gear S2 features a 1.2-inch round Super AMOLED display with 360×360 pixel resolution, a dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM, support for eSIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC for Samsung Pay while promising up to 3 days of battery life.
