Verizon started shipping pre-ordered units of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge a few days ago. Customers who got their units weren't happy to find out that the Samsung Pay app was missing even though Verizon already supports the service on previous flagships. It wasn't immediately clear why the app was missing from the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge on Verizon units but the carrier soon confirmed that the app was undergoing testing and that it would arrive soon.
Big Red has followed through on its promise. The app arrives just before the official launch date of the new handsets. Testing has been completed and the app is now available for download on the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge on Verizon. Simply head over to the Play Store and download the app on your handset to make payments on the go with Samsung Pay.
