As expected, Samsung has today launched its first 360-degree camera in South Korea, alongside its latest budget-friendly smartphones, the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016). At present, the Gear 360 is only available to purchase from the company’s online portal with a price tag of ₩399,300 ($350). However, it will be making its way to over 450 bricks-and-mortar stores nationwide starting May 1.
It’s also worth noting that if you were one of the lucky few to pre-order the Gear 360 in South Korea last week, it should be arriving today. Instead of tirelessly waiting by the door for the postman to arrive, though, be sure to check out our hands-on content with the device as you’ll be able to learn a thing or two about its design, functionality and how it works.
