The Galaxy Tab A 10.1, which was announced two months ago, is now available for pre-order in the US for $299.99 through Samsung's official website. Only 16GB variant of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is available for pre-order as of now.
The Galaxy Tab A (SM-T580) 10.1 features a 10.1-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, an 8-megapixel primary camera with ƒ/1.9 aperture, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. It runs Android 6.0, and is equipped with an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
It features dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a Micro-USB 2.0 port, and a 7300 mAh battery. The mid-range tablet from Samsung is available in two colors: Metallic Black and Pearl White. Shipping is free if you order from Samsung's official web store, and it the estimated shipping time is 7-10 days.
