While Google released Android 7.0 earlier this week, some devices are lucky enough to be updated to Android 6.0, and the Galaxy S5 Active is one of them. AT&T has just released Android Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S5 Active in the US. The device had received Android 5.1.1 Lollipop ten months ago.
The update comes with build number MMB29M.G870AUCU2DPH2, and the full size of the download is just over 900MB. The OTA (over the air) update has begun, and it brings Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the Galaxy S5 Active (SM-G870A) along with AT&T's Wi-Fi calling, video calling, and the latest security patch (August 2016).
Changelog:
Android OS 6.0 (Marshmallow)
