We exclusively reported last month that Samsung is now working on the 2017 iteration of the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7. Some specs of these handsets have already been leaked, particularly those of the Galaxy A3 (2017) which was recently spotted on GFXBench. The handset has now been spotted on an import tracker which reveals that Samsung has imported the Galaxy A3 (2017) into India for testing.
We have previously reported that the Galaxy A3 (2017) is likely to feature a 4.7-inch display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB of storage aside from a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. Specifications of the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) have been leaked as well and it's likely that these leaks will continue to come in until this new lineup is officially announced. The Galaxy A3 (2017) is certainly going to be the entry-level model in this series so expect it to be priced accordingly. Samsung is yet to confirm when the 2017 iteration of the Galaxy A series will be launched.
