There’s finally a fast and reliable way to transfer files on Tizen

It's no secret that Tizen has been lacking a reliable file transfer application ever since its initial release back in January 2012. Sure, you've always had the facility to grab a third-party offering from the Tizen Store, but they rarely work and often restricted. However, that's all about to change as the offering you've been waiting for has finally made its way onto the Store.

Xender File Transfer is available to download starting today for all models of the Samsung Z1Z2 and Z3 running Tizen 2.4.0.1+. What separates this file sharing option from the flurry of others is that it not only allows you to wirelessly move files between Android, iOS and Tizen smartphones at a rapid pace, but you'll have the facility to push them to computers too.

Unlike most other file sharing applications, Xender also supports extremely fast group file sharing on up to four devices. All you have to do is create a group, select the file you want to send — documents, photos or videos — then hit the miniature envelope icon and you'll be good to go. No Internet connection? No worries. Xender packs an offline sharing mode that delivers high transfer speeds via Bluetooth.
