2K has released a new basketball VR experience for the Gear VR. Called NBA 2KVR Experience, this is the first virtual reality mini-game from the publisher with multiple game modes and challenges. The mini-game will see players joining NBA 2K17 cover athlete and All-Star Paul George as they take to the court at the Indiana Pacers' stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Paul George will guide players by providing tips on how to improve their skills in the mini-game and will also provide commentary. Mini-games include a Time Attack mode, Three-Point Games and Party Events. The idea here is simple. Just aim with your face and try to land the shots. A trailer has also been released by the publisher which provides a glimpse of this virtual reality experience that's quite similar to the ones we've already seen for some other games like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Star Wars Battlefront.
NBA 2KVR Experience has been released today for the Gear VR. Bear in mind that it's not free, this virtual reality experience is going to cost you $14.99.
