Samsung officially announced the Galaxy A (2017) series yesterday. The series has considerably been improved over the past few years as features have gradually trickled down from Samsung's high-end Galaxy handsets to this affordable lineup. It's a fact that Samsung is highlighting in its first official TV advert for the Galaxy A (2017).
The advert points out that the Galaxy A (2017) features a 16-megapixel front and rear camera – at least the A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) do – while all three models in this series are IP68 water and dust resistant. Despite having a sleek build complete with metal and glass, the Galaxy A (2017) also features microSD card support for expandable storage. The new series offers great options for those who don't want to spend too much money on a flagship smartphone but would like to have some premium features at an affordable price.
The new Galaxy A lineup is going to be available for purchase in Europe early next month with the Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) being priced at 329 euro and 429 euro respectively. The handsets can already be pre-ordered in the UK.
