Samsung Chromebook Plus is now available for purchase in the US

The Chromebook Plus, which was showcased alongside the Chromebook Pro at CES 2017 last month, is now available for purchase in the US. Priced at $449, Samsung's new Chrome OS-based 2-in-1 laptop can now be purchased from Samsung's official website, Amazon, and Best Buy.

The Chromebook Plus features a 12.3-inch 360-degree rotating touchscreen LCD display (with 2400 x 1600 pixels resolution and 400 nits brightness), a 2GHz hexa-core ARM processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC flash storage, stereo speakers, dual microphones, a 720p webcam, and a 5140 mAh battery.

The Chromebook Plus comes preloaded with Google Play Store so that it can run Android apps. It also comes with a capacitive stylus that can be used for doodling, drawing, sketching, and jotting down notes. Connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a headphone jack.
