Samsung officially announced the rugged Galaxy Xcover 4 smartphone last week. The handset is designed for harsh environments as it has been manufactured based on the MIL-STD 810G standard. The handset can work in extreme high and low temperatures while also being water and dust resistant. The Galaxy Xcover 4 has a 4.99-inch 720×1280 TFT display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It has NFC and microSD card support, a 2,800mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset's touchscreen display can even be used with gloves on.
