Less than 24 hours after it arrived on the Galaxy J7 (2016), Samsung has started rolling out the January security patch for the first-generation Galaxy J5 in Europe; bringing fixes for a total of 67 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures in the Android OS and an additional 28 patches specifically for the handset.

Like usual, the update (XXU1BQA4) is making the rounds in stages. If you'd like to see if it's ready for your device, simply open up the Settings menu and select the relevant option from the Software Update section under in the About Device subheading.
