It was only yesterday that the Galaxy Note 5 started receiving the Nougat update in India, and Samsung is now pushing out the update to the Galaxy S6 edge+ in the country. Both devices have usually been updated at the same time since they launched in 2015, and it's good to see the trend is continuing with Nougat. The update is also available in Sri Lanka; firmware for both regions can be download from our firmware section should you wish to upgrade manually.
As usual, the update will also be available over the air; your phone will notify you of its own accord, though you can also grab it by heading into the Settings » About device menu. To see what Nougat brings to your device, check out the video below. For tips on getting the most out of Nougat, go here.
A word of caution: It seems there is some issue with flashing firmware for one country on a device in another country despite both devices having the same model number, so use firmware only for your particular country on your Galaxy S6 edge+ should you download them from our database.
