Samsung is repeatedly highlighting Bixby as one of the major selling points of the Galaxy S8. It's such a prominent feature on the new flagship that Samsung even gave Bixby a hardware button of its own. If you're aware of all that Bixby can do and still don't see much use for it then perhaps you'd like to use the extra hardware key for something else. As it turns out, it's possible to remap the Galaxy S8 Bixby button.
A video posted on Reddit shows us just how easy it is to remap Galaxy S8 Bixby button so that when pressed, it opens something other than Bixby. It's possible through a third-party application called All in One Gestures that's available on the Google Play Store.
We can see in the video that when the Bixby button is pressed, the Google Now homepage comes up instead of Samsung's new voice assistant. While Samsung didn't point out that it will be possible to remap this button and doesn't offer a way to do that by default, it's clear now that the Bixby button will be open to remapping if you just use the right third-party app.
The question is, will you do it?
