Samsung is in the midst of distributing last month's security update for the Galaxy A5 (2016) in Europe. For those unaware, the upgrade (XXU4BQC1) transports patches for 73 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures in the Android OS and 12 fixes specifically targeted at Galaxy-branded smartphones.

To see if the OTA is ready for your Galaxy A5 (2016), open up Settings, then select the relevant option from the Software Update subheading. Alternatively, you can wait until you receive a notification prompting you to install the update, though it may take a little longer to appear than manually scanning.
