Last updated: April 7th, 2017 at 11:19 UTC+02:00

After rolling out the Nougat update to its high-end smartphones, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 update to the Galaxy Tab S2. The update is currently rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T715) in Italy and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (SM-T810) in Germany.

Apart from Android 7.0, the update also brings Game Launcher, improved performance, a newer user interface, and improvements to notifications as well as quick setting buttons. The Nougat update improves the multi-window feature and provides an efficient space for the installation of downloaded apps, and faster installation of software updates and apps.

If the OTA update hasn't hit your Galaxy Tab S2 yet, you can download the appropriate firmware file manually from our firmware section, and install it using the Odin tool (which you can download from our website as well).
