Samsung and Asiana Airlines are offering a special edition of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that passengers can purchase with their mileage points. These units won't be sold at retail and only 2,000 units of the special edition handset will only ever be created.
Those who are interested and have accrued that much mileage can now sign up for the special edition handset until April 17. They will be able to purchase it at a reduced price which equals to 30,000 mileage points.
There's nothing too different about this version as it just has an Asiana-exclusive theme and a logo of the airline is shown on the display when it's turned on. This isn't the first time both companies have worked together on something like this. We saw them launch a special edition of the Galaxy S7 last year as well.
