Samsung has started rolling out a new update for the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) in India. There isn't much cause for celebration, though, as this isn't an upgrade to Nougat. The 101MB update is minor in the sense that it doesn't bring much in the way of big new features and obviously doesn't bring Nougat for the Galaxy A (2017) series.
What the changelog does tell us is that this update includes device stability improvements and bug fixes aside from further improvements to performance. Firmware version A520FXXU1AQC7 and A720FXXU1AQC5 is now rolling out for the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) respectively. It does come with the March security patch.
